Sometimes you do not need a full design service. You need an expert in the room. Someone to look with a trained eye, answer the questions you keep circling, and tell you honestly what they would do.
That is what our consultancy is for. Perhaps one room will not quite work. Perhaps it is a set of finishes you cannot settle, or a whole house you would like us to walk through before you commit. Either way, we bring focused direction to exactly where you need it - and leave you clear on what to do next.
You take everything forward yourself, with the confidence of a considered second opinion behind you. It is the lightest way to work with us, and often the first.

This service is for you if you would like professional direction without a full design package. That might be a confident starting point, one specific problem solved, or a considered second opinion before you invest. It suits homeowners who are happy to carry the work forward themselves, and simply want an expert eye to point the way.
What’s included
Focused guidance, shaped around what you need. There are four ways to work with us, from a single session to ongoing support:
- One-Off Consultation - a focused session for a single room or a specific problem. A layout that will not resolve, a finish you cannot settle, a direction you would like confirmed. You leave with clear, practical guidance to take forward.
- Half-Day Consultancy - a longer session across several rooms, or layout and finishes together. Space to work through more than one decision, unhurried, in a single visit.
- Full-Day Consultancy - a considered whole-house walkthrough, room by room. The ideal way to set the direction for a whole home before you decide how to take it forward.
- Flexible Design Consultancy - ongoing, ad hoc support as your project unfolds. Dip in and out, with guidance ready whenever the questions arise.

The Blackheath Apartment is consultancy at its most useful. The apartment already held the makings of the look its owner was after; what it lacked was cohesion. Interest came from a few considered moves rather than starting again — an upcycled kitchen, a fitted media unit, barn-style doors and layered lighting — with the client carrying out the work himself.
