Our Process for a Full Interior Design Service
The Survey
We can either work off your architects drawings or carry out a full measured survey. We will also work with you to review all the items of furniture, accessories and artwork that you would like to incorporate into your new design.
The Brief
Learning about and understanding our clients is at the foundation of creating an authentic, desirable design that works for you on a functional level. Equally, to ensure that the designs created are within budget and that the desired timeframe is met.
The Concept
This is a very collaborative stage of the design process where we start to work with our interpretation of your brief, holding regular meetings to ensure that we are all on the same page. We will start to look at the overall style direction, spacial and furniture layouts. You will be presented with deliverables such as Digital Concept Boards of things such as overall style; colour schemes; cabinetry etc. Anything that helps to build a picture of what you are looking to achieve. On the more technical side we will be looking at Spacial Layout and Furniture Plans.
The Design Development
During this stage, the Concept will start to feel more like a reality. Creating deliverables, including CAD Drawings, that your contractors can work with. We’ll work on the detailed design of the proposed fitted cabinetry, kitchens and bathrooms. Creating plans and elevated drawings and start working with any selected specialists. We will create the proposed lighting design and socket placements. Although the lighting and socket plans can be a little tedious for a lot of our clients, lighting is an essential part of the design process. Fundamental to creating the right atmosphere and enhancing your interiors. We like you to understand the thought process behind all our designs. However, we’ll make it up to you with the fun side of looking at samples that you’ll be able to hold and feel and a list of furniture for you to go and view. You will be invited to your own online studio to view proposed items, visit different suppliers and the studio in Felden, to review physical samples of materials. Once this stage is complete we’ll review your budget and make sure that everything is on track, making any necessary amendments. Drawing up your shopping list and specification of materials.
Implementation
During this phase we will carry our regular on site visits, working closely with your Architect and/or principal Contractor. During the course of the construction there are always unforeseen factors that come to light. We will make any necessary adjustments to the designs for your approval and ensure that our designs are being carried out to their exact specification. We will assist you with your snagging list, final furniture placement, positioning of your artwork and accessorising your home. It’s this final stage that really pulls everything together.Services Provided

This is a service that works through our structured process of design. You will have the option to receive a full interior design service where we are with you every step of the way, or to create a more bespoke service that is catered to your specific requirements and budget. We can work with you to create your design concept, take you through to the detailed design phase, or all the way through to installation and dressing your beautiful new interiors. We can work with you on extensions and renovations of your whole home, or just a couple of rooms.
