The Finishing Layers is our answer to that. It bridges the gap between a one-off consultation and a full interior design project: no building works, no upheaval - simply the strategic layering of furniture, colour, lighting, soft furnishings and styling that brings a room to life.
We resolve the scheme and hand you a clear, considered plan to bring to life yourself. Or, if you would rather, we can source, manage and install every piece for you.
Who this is for
This is for you if you have moved into a new home, finished a renovation, or simply lived with rooms that have never felt right - and you would like them resolved without starting a building project. It suits anyone who wants the depth and comfort of a designed space, delivered as a single, manageable scheme.
What’s included
A complete design scheme for the agreed space, ready to bring to life:
- Site Visit & Brief - we spend time in the space with you, understanding how you live in it and the direction that feels right.
- Furniture Layout & Spatial Planning - proportion, scale and flow reassessed, with an optimised layout for the room.
- Colour, Paint & Finish Direction - paint colours, wall finishes and textures defined, including feature and joinery direction where relevant.
- Style Development & Mood Board - the mood, materials and character captured in a full concept mood board, agreed before anything is sourced.
- Furniture, Lighting & Soft Furnishings - furniture, retrofit lighting, rugs and soft furnishings selected and sourced to sit within a considered whole.
- Styling, Accessories & Shopping List - artwork, ceramics and accessories, consolidated into a single shopping list with supplier references for straightforward ordering.
Optional extras
Take the scheme forward yourself, or let us handle it end to end. Two optional services are available alongside the design:
- Procurement & Order Management - we place and manage every order for you - supplier liaison, delivery tracking, returns and scheduling - so the admin never falls to you.
- Final Arrangement & Styling - once everything has arrived, we return to place every piece, layer the finishing details and dress the space so it is complete and photograph-ready.
